Living and working in Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel,
allows me constantly to touch and breathe holiness while at
the same time to immerse myself in the intense, mundane and
thriving dynamics of an historic people emerging in the modern
world. These ancient hills and stones, with heaven so close
and the pulsating vibrancy of a people so connected to the
land, engender a rebirth of the miracles of life each day.
Ra'anan, 1999
