The atmosphere of Jerusalem, spiritual and physical has always profoundly influenced my work. With each and every piece, I have attempted to achieve a goal that I set for myself over 20 years ago - to express in silver Judaica a Jewish thought and customs in a totally original, yet still traditional, manner. Many of my pieces have Jewish history, Midrash, scenes from the Bible and quotations from Jewish sources incorporated into them. In every possible way I have called the wealth of Jewish teachings into my art. My Judaic art is not only unmistakably Jewish, it is also unmistakably my own style. In this style I have been careful to execute a fine workmanship, utilizing the techniques of engraving, lattice work, relief work and soldering. Many of my pieces are one-of-a-kind. In the pieces that I repeat in a limited edition, I vary the engravings or the scenery so that no two pieces are exactly alike.
