Nhan Phung oil painting gallery
My works are under the influence of masters such as Rembrandt, Millet, Balthus, Manet, Hopper, Freud, Kulicke, Nerdrum and some contemporary artists. My goal and interest are to continue along the path set forth by these great masters. I also want to search for my own unique styles by seeking new techniques and ideas in composition and subject matter.

Our everyday life scenes have always interested me, and I would like to paint the world around me in very direct and modest terms, creating exciting color schemes and design into my canvases. Incorporating the human figure is the most challenging aspect of making my art.

In conclusion, I want to find and explore creative possibilities that can be done with the use of figure as the focal point in my work.
