| At age 10: Knop studied the craft of repairing antique furniture with a wood carver | |||||
| Adolescence: Knop learned to develop large size sculptures under such teachers as Luis Fernández (Renaissance "bottega") | |||||
| At age 16: studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, directed by Pio Collivadino, under graduate drawing teachers such as Alberto Lagos and Alfredo Bigatti. | |||||
| Knop studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes, under Ernesto Soto Avendaña, Carlos de la Cárcova and José Fioravanti. | |||||
| At age 22 (1939): Knop graduates as a National Professor of Art; Professor Knop taught at the Bahía Blanca University for 6 years. | |||||
| At age 30 (1947): Knop wanted to be part of the international revolution in art, traveled to the U.S., won a fellowship to the Art Institute of Los Angeles. | |||||
| Knop continued to travel intermittently in order to bring the art revolution back to Argentina. | |||||
