Argentine sculptor Naum Knop, 1917-1993, is a widely acknowledged sculptor in the Argentine and international art world. In 1964 he won the Grand Prize of Honor in the National Salon of Plastic Arts. By this time he had already received more than fifteen major prizes since 1957, such as Prize of Honour, "Ministry of Education and Justice of the Nation" (1961) and Grand Prize of Honor, "M Belgrano" Salon of Plastic Arts (1963)."
