| The Medinger Family resume and history of HaZorfim |
| Yosef Medinger |
| HaZorfim's founder, Yosef Medinger, came to Israel in 1952, a refugee from the blood and ashes of Eastern Europe. A creative and forward-looking man, he worked with strength and vigor to forge a new life. Together with his two associates - Wilhelm Kerner and Meir Steinmetz - he created HaZorfim Silver. Just as his new country was flourishing because of the hard work and idealism of its people, so was this new silver gallery, designed to give new settlers pride in setting up their homes with silver Judaica. Spurred by Yosef's vision and practicality, his artistry and good business sense, HaZorfim soon became part of the fabric of Israel's silver industry and an important part of the Israeli economy. |

| Hazorfim has become Israel's
largest silversmith company and a leading exporter of silver items. The company designs and manufactures artistic silver items and traditional Judaica. | History |
| Yosef loved the traditions of his people. Israel's silver craft had its origins during the times of the Great Temple in Jerusalem. With the Temple's destruction, Israel's citizens were forced to scatter, the best of the silver craftsmewn finding work in the silver centers of the world: Rome, Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe. Centuries later, with the creation of the State of Israel, they returned to the homeland of their ancestors. With Yosef's help, these master craftsmen began new lives. Today, there are over 150 employees and they offer the largest selection of candelabras in the world. |

| The Family |
| With Yosef's
death in in 1984, his family pledged to further the values and craftsmanship they learned
from their father. Today, 18 years after his death, Mrs. Medinger and her sons
continue HaZorfim with Yosef's same passion and commitment. Their curiosity and
creativity, traits Yosef adamently encouraged, found expression in the uniqueness of their
silver creations - both modern and classic - and in the efficiency of their production
techniques. With the eldest son Yaakov at its head, HaZorfim has developed a reputation for artistry, originality, quality, price, service and selection. |
| . |
| Above all, HaZorfim is today known as a progressive, responsive company committed to the timeless expression of beauty, grace and elegance in silver production. |
