Renowned internationally for their individual artwork, and acclaimed for their collaborations in glass and steel, Horvitz/Roesch of HR Studio have created limited edition fine furniture.  Each work is signed and dated and is inspired by their appreciation for furniture that is functional and aesthetic.  Horvitz is recognized for her etched glass; Roesch for his craftsmanship with aluminum and steel.  Their collaborative works and installations are in the permanent collections at the Visual Studies Workshop, Rochester, N.Y.; University City Science Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Kunstzaal Marktzeventien, Holland; Centro De Arte Moderna, Gulbenkian, Lisbon, Portugal; Musee d'Art Contemporain, Chamalieres, France; McAllen International Museum, Texas; Museum of Greater Victoria, Victoria, B.C. Canada;  Fyns Kunstmuseum, Odense Denmark; Museum of American Glass, Millville, New Jersey; Glasmuseum, Ebeltoft, Denmark.

"We have been collaborating in art work and in life's work for over twelve years. As life partners we uphold one another. In our artwork and the furniture we design and fabricate, Horvitz paintings in glass or metal are upheld by Roesch's sculptural forms. We aim for a marriage that creates a visual weaving of images and text. Our collaborations refer to our love for opera and journeys on our sailboat "Siren".  We have worked together lecturing and giving workshops about art at the Art Academy in Enshede, Holland, and worked together as Cultural Advisors to the U.S. Embassy in Ecuador and Argentina, 1996, Damascus, Syria, 1997, and Cairo, Egypt, 1998."
