| My knitwear
and accessories are designed for the sophisticated woman who doesn't feel compelled to
dress like everyone else. Fabrics are created to withstand the demands of travel and
provide a flattering drape. Styles range from dramatic to conservative, but are always
practical and timeless. Each garment in my
collection is crafted individually. Due to slight variations in yarn dye lots and
trimmings, no two garments are likely to be identical. Subtle differences in shading
within a garment are not unusual and add to its artistic individuality. I personally do
all of the designing and finishing of the garments featured in my collection. I am not
interested in mass producing my designs and prefer to cater to the discriminating client
who appreciates and can afford both quality and style, yet also expects value. I welcome
and enjoy the opportunity to fill custom orders. This enables me to work closely with my
clients and provide the one-of-a-kind garment or coordinated outfit that the today's buyer
often prefers. Because of customer requests, my product line has continued to expand and
now includes jackets, coats, vests, skirts, shells, scarves, shawls, and handbags.
If properly cared for, your new wearable art should
provide many years of enjoyment. Like all fine knits, your garment should be folded and
stored flat after each wearing. Prolonged hanging may cause knitwear to stretch and should
be avoided. Should your garment require cleaning, have it be dry cleaned by a quality,
professional dry cleaner. If your piece is accented with antique buttons (such as Bakelite
or Victorian jet glass), they should be protected or removed prior to cleaning.
If vour garment contains chenille yarn, it is possible
that there will be some shedding during the first few wearings. This is a natural
characteristic of fine chenille and should not be a cause for alarm. |
